STEVE CAPECCI HOLDIN’ IT DOWN DOWN LOW

Steve was born in Paterson, NJ, as a first generation Italian American. At a young age Steve was draw to the accordion and began to develop his love for music, culture, and the up-beat. Bass became the instrument of expression by age 12 and has been ever since. He has an affinity for Carribean music, and loves playing and writing in styles like Reggae, Ska, and Rocksteady. A certified scuba diver, Steve runs out of air long before the other divers, because he spends so much more time swimming upside down than observing the wildlife. This can be applied to Steve’s life in more ways than scuba diving. Steve’s biggest influence is the Drum Set, especially when the throne is occupied by Sir Joshua the Steingard, Keeper of the Rhythm. Steve is often appreciated for his dedication to do as little as is musically possible. This approach is also seen (and less appreciated) in his various other daily activities.
